Pte F W Dawson born Oct 12,1910 and died Mar 3 1988. He lived in Prince Albert, Sask. He worked as a partsman in auto body. He was married and had four children.

Originally from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, Fred Dawson emigrated to Canada in 1928, joining his brother who was farming in Dismore, Saskatchewan. He then moved to the Canwood area, where he met Evelyn Waller. They were blessed with two sons and two daughters.
When the Second World War broke out, he enlisted in the Canadian Army.
