Parents: Mr and Mrs Jacob Engelhardt. They emigrated from Germany to Canada in July 1910. They lived at first in a ’soddie’, a house made from turves, on Fred Young’s farm. They settled in the Rayside district. Albert had six brothers and two sisters.
