ROY SWANSON

He never went overseas during the war but he served in Training Command Instructing Airframe technicians. He was released after the war but reenlisted in 1946 in the RCAF and served from then until 1964. He then became a Corrections Service Officer in the British Columbia Federal Prison System and was with them until his retirement in 1987.

He married and had seven children. When he passed he had 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was proud of his family and very proud of his wartime and peacetime service.
