WILLARD SUNDERLAND

Parents: Harry Sunderland, born Peoria, Illinois in 1859 and Catherine Parker of Lyons, Kansas. Moved to Canada in 1909. Homesteaded until 1920 when they moved to Shellbrook where Henry operated a livery stable. Both buried in Shellbrook cemetery.

’Willard was a mechanic and served with the RCAF during World War II. After his discharge, he and his wife, Margaret, settled in Edmonton. They had three sons. Willard died in 1980.

Williard’s nephew was Arthur V Sunderland qv.
