L/Cpl Ross E J Fisher - R.C.C.S. Born April 30,1916, Swanson, Sask. Died November 6,1955. Ross worked for his uncle at Winter, Sask. before joining the army. He spent three years overseas. Ross married before going overseas. After the war he moved with his wife to Winter, Sask. where he farmed until he passed away. They had four children.

’Ross worked out and away from home before joining the Royal Canadian Army Signal Corps. While down east training, her met and married Rose Dodds of Sarnia, Ontario. He served time overseas and after the war he and his wife farmed near Winter, Saskatchewan. They had two sons, John and Charles, and two daughters, Dessie Ann and Joyce. Ross died of a heart attack in November 1955.’
