Born October 14th, 1911.

Joined up in 1940. He was overage for joining up, and was married to Francis, with three children - Johnny, Wallace & Thelma. He was eventually sent overseas to England.  Another daughter, Faye, was born in 1948.

Eddie returned to farming with son Wallace until his death. He and Francis were strong Legion supporters throughout life.  He was a committed grandfather, and a very hard worker who also liked to have fun! His granddaughter remembers him as a big tease. His language could be colourful, especially when talking about politics and hockey, both of which he felt passionately about. He was a firm supporter of Diefenbaker.

He died August 19, 1993.
