ELSIE ADAIR

Elsie Margaret Adair was born in 1915 in Saskatoon to Charles Cooper Adair (1885-1948) and Mary Angeline (Nellie) Standall (1893-1965). Elsie had three siblings, Cecil Stanley (1913-1980), Rita Ethel (1925-2000) and Shirlee Jean (1930-2007). Charles was a foundry man and came to Saskatoon by 1912. He worked for the Western Foundry & Machine Co and then John East Foundry. In 1922 Charles joined the newly formed Blanchard Foundry, becoming its manager.

In 1918 the family lived at 116 Ave L South, moving to 620 22nd St W by 1921. Elsie married Peter John Perverseff in about 1942. Peter was born on 10 May 1908 in 36-44-08-W3, Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan to John Alex Perverseff (b 1888) and Mary Wishloff (b 1888). Peter had two siblings, John (b 1906) and Aldolfia (b 1912). Peter was a pharmacist and owned the Canada Building Pharmacy in Saskatoon.

Elsie and Peter had three children, John (1944-2015), Patricia (Patti) (1946-2011) and Peter Jr.

Peter died on 18 September 1976 at Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan. Elsie died on 20 March 1989 in Saskatoon, aged 74.
