This is an example of our best fit matching of the family. No Athenson or Athinson records were found in the Saskatoon directory searches. The following biography is best match we could make.
Margaret (Maggie) Ridley was born April 1879 in Aspatria, Cumberland, England, the daughter of John and Catherine. She had three brothers, James Stewart, Hugh & Thomas and two sisters, Mary & Agnes.
Maggie married Thomas Court Atkinson in 1903 in Wigton, Cumbria, England. Thay had two children; Winnifred May born in 1903 and John W born in 1906. The family emigrated to Canada in 1907. They settled in Saskatoon and Thomas found work as a clerk in the Land Titles Office. At this time they lived at 201 9th St, Saskatoon. In 1915 Thomas enlisted in the military and was injured the following year at Mount Sorrel, Ypres, Belgium. On his return to Canada they moved to 816 6th St E and Thomas resumed working for the Land Titles Office where he stayed until his retirement. He died on 15 July 1857 in British Columbia.
Winnifred married John Fletcher (b 1903) and they were living at 424 Ave J North in 1930 when Winnifred travelled to British Columbia for a holiday.
Their family tree can be found on Ancestry under the title 3rd Ave Atkinson Tree.
